NORMAN – Norman Regional Health System and Oceans Healthcare have set plans for a ceremonial groundbreaking and beam signing event Wednesday to commemorate expansion of behavioral health services in south-central Oklahoma. The organizations partnered in 2021 to build a new, state-of-the-art 48-bed hospital to more than double Norman Regional's current inpatient capacity for adult and senior behavioral health patients. The Behavioral Health Center at Porter Health Village also will add services, including an intensive outpatient program and a dedicated geriatric behavioral health unit.
